ABOUT US

WELCOME

We’ve been waiting for you!  It’s true, because we believe that every person who comes into the circle of this special fellowship was sent by God Himself.

It’s not by accident that we have the joy of meeting you.  So, above all else, we want to express Christ’s love to you with genuine, heartfelt warmth.  We’re eager to know you, and we’re excited to share with you the marvelous ways God is working in our church.

It won’t take you long to discover that this is truly a family, rich in the relationships that matter most.  Growing together, we worship, we serve, we laugh, we cry, we learn, and we reach out to our world with life-transforming truth.  We reach out to you, as well.  Our doors are open.  Our hearts are open, too.  If you’ve been thinking, praying, searching and hoping for a place to belong, we say again - Welcome!!!

CHURCH COVENANT

Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and on profession of our faith having been baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, we do now, in the presence of God, angels, and this assembly most solemnly and joyfully enter into the covenant with one another, as one body in Christ.

We promise by the aid of the Holy Spirit to forsake the paths of sin, and to walk in the ways of Holiness all the days of our lives. With this view we engage to strive together for the advancement to this church in knowledge, holiness, and comfort; to promote its prosperity and spirituality; to sustain its worship, service, budget, and fellowship; to do our part to create attitudes of reverence and worship; to maintain a spirit of cooperation in our relationships with others; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel.

We also pledge to adopt a personal plan of religious growth to cultivate our religious life systematically, through the use of prayer, fasting, study of the Bible, participating in religious meetings, and mediation. We vow maintain family and secret devotion; to religiously educate our children; to seek the elevation of our kindred and acquaintances; to walk circumspectly in the work of the Lord; to be kind and just to those in our employ, and faithful in the service we promise others. We promise to always endeavor in the purity of heart and goodwill towards all men to exemplify and commend our holy faith.

We further vow to acknowledge the fact as Christians, we are called of God to serve and to accept sacred responsibilities and obligations; to be faithful workers for Him and His cause; to pray for, watch over, exhort and motivate one another unto every good work; to work to guard each other’s reputation, not needlessly exposing the infirmities of others; to support and comfort one another through burdens and sorrows; to cultivate Christian courtesy; to be slow to give or take offense, but always ready for reconciliation, being mindful of the rules of the Savior in the 18th chapter of Matthew, to secure it without delay; and through life, amid evil reports and good reports, to seek to live to the glory of God who hath called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.

We believe that there is One God, eternally existent in Three Persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin, is through repentance, faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ and being baptized in water.  We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is essential for personal salvation.

We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.

We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by Whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world.

Amen!
