CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
A child saved is a soul saved…
We believe that parents are the very first teachers of their children. As such, the role of the parent is not only to provide, love and care for their children, but to instruct them in the ways of the spirit.
We are here to help you raise your children with the Word of God as their foundation, to nurture spiritual gifts and help them grow in Evangelism and Ministry. We believe every soul is important in the building up of God’s kingdom.
Our children’s ministry is aimed at engagement for children ages 2 to 10. We regularly play games, sing songs, put on plays and have contests. In doing so, we are creating a fun and safe environment for our children to fall in love with God, their communities and all His people. We want your children to be confident in their faith and the power God has given them to change the world one soul at a time!
YOUTH MINISTRY
"Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you say, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity." 1 Timothy 4:12 NLT:
Our youth Ministry aims to create a haven for young people to foster a love for Christ and grow. Brown Memorial Temple’s Youth Ministry is geared toward pre-teens and teenagers. Through this ministry, we teach our young people that biblical principles are extremely important and not at all “outdated.” This ministry is one that is approachable and meets the youth where they are at. Those enrolled in grades 6 to 12 are invited to join us as we keep it REAL: Relevant, Engaging, Authentic and Laid-back.
MEN'S MINISTRY
Just as iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. Proverbs 27:17
Brown Memorial Temple is excited to present to your Men in Ministry. This program is designed for men of all ages. We invite single men, married men, fathers and soon-to-be fathers to join us as we spend time together reading the word of God, praying for one another, encouraging one another and never forgetting to have a good laugh or two while doing so. Through this brotherhood we continue to improve ourselves and each other, like iron sharpens iron; building lifelong bonds as we strive to be the men God has called us to be.
WOMEN'S MINISTRY
World Evangelism- Better Homes, Better Schools, Better Communities for a Better World
Our Women's Ministry thrives on the principle that Evangelism begins in the home. We aim to live our lives as Christ by being examples to those around us. As we let our lights so shine among men in our homes, we inspire our loved ones to draws closer to Christ. This sphere of influence extends out to the schools, our communities and finally, our light will shine before the world.
We like to think of this ministry as a sister circle where we come together to encourage, support and love one another unconditionally. We have regularly scheduled events through which we continuously nurture our sisterhood. We believe every woman, young and old has a unique place in the building of the Kingdom. No matter if you are married, engaged, single, we welcome you into our circle and invite you to connect with us!
